Sacred Sound & Silence at Borestone Mountain

A Silent Retreat with Yoga & Sound Healing for Women

Thursday 10/3 - Sunday, 10/6

Registration Closed

Join us for a long weekend of deep rest and healing.

Immerse in the vibrations of sound healing, yoga and silence. Invite yourself to go deep, while being held the arms of Mother Nature at a rustic and magical mountain lodge surrounded by old growth forest and crystalline ponds.

Sound tools and mantra are technologies for healing and meditation used across many different cultures and traditions for thousands of years. They invoke a sacred connection to the fabric of our reality. They also serve to bring the nervous system deeply into the parasympathetic state.

Exposure to these higher frequencies within a container of social silence is a powerful combination, inviting a deeply meditative state throughout the weekend.

This is profound invitation to allow for insights and observations to surface. There are many benefits of being in a container of intentional silence, especially in the company of others.

Throughout each day, there will be opportunities to explore the trails, kayak, or simply rest and find rejuvenation in the arms of Mother Nature. In the evenings, weather permitting we will have kirtan, stories and ritual around the fire.

No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

Accommodations:

The Borestone Mountain lodges were designed and built in the early 1900’s. They are authentic “Rustic Adirondike” log buildings. Bedrooms are double occupancy with either bunk beds or two twins.

Sheets and bedding are provided.

One bathroom with a toilet and a sink is located in the Main Lodge, and 2 bath houses with hot/cold water sinks, showers, and toilets are located in a separate building next to the lodge.

Food:

Delicious seasonal vegetarian meals will be served beginning with dinner on Thursday and ending with breakfast Sunday morning. We will do our best to accommodate any special dietary needs with advance notice. Tea and snacks will be available throughout the day.

Arrival:

Getting to the lodges requires staff to transport visitors via a 10 minute drive up the mountain and a 10 minute boat ride across the pond. Because of this, all participants will need to arrive by 3PM on Thursday.

Thanks so much for a great weekend! Wow, Borestone Mountain is a beautiful place! I so appreciate all your care and attention to the rituals, chanting and I really loved the stories. Thank you!
